Steelwedge Software, supplier of Sales Planning and Performance Management solutions, announced recently that PATS Aircraft Completions, a division of Decrane Aerospace, is deploying Steelwedge to support its collaborative sales forecasting, performance management, and S&OP processes.

Decrane Aerospace selected Steelwedge to improve forecast accuracy, on-time delivery and profitability. Steelwedge solution will enable Decrane to consolidate and manage planning inputs from sales, finance and operations in a single S&OP platform.
The initial phase of the solution roll-out will focus on creating a more accurate sales forecast. Sales executives and planners will use Steelwedge to capture and forecast unit demand and revenues at the customer/level and measure actual performance against plan. The solution will also allow for integrating planned deals from their sales opportunity pipeline into the overall forecast. Executive management will use Steelwedge to review, approve and adjust forecasts and to align them with sales and operational plans.
Follow-on phases of the roll-out will integrate supply planning and rough cut capacity planning.
