JustEnough Software Corporation announced that Phoenix-based American Teaching Supply selected them for demand planning, inventory planning, forecasting and replenishment.
As a family-owned retailer, American Teaching Supply has eight retail sites, a 600-page catalog and an e-commerce site to drive the sales of school and art supplies around the country.
Their warehouse strives to use the latest technology to provide customers with a 48-hour fulfillment guarantee and real-time inventory, which makes solid inventory projections a necessity.
With over 230,000 SKUs available in-store and nearly 12,000 online, American Teaching Supply searched for a solution that would help them to reduce the investment of their inventory while still maintaining the high level of customer service that is such a key to their business's success.
"With managing that many different items in eight different locations, it got very difficult," said Bryan Bundgaard, COO at American Teaching Supply. "We wanted to use today's technology to make that happen for us."
In the end, they selected JustEnough not just because of the software's capabilities, but also because of the staff's helpfulness and professional attitude.
"They made it a fairly easy decision to make," remarked Bundgaard.
The software's implementation is expected to be complete in the next couple of weeks. Using this technology, American Teaching Supply aims to eliminate wasteful spending on the purchasing side of the company, improve efficiency in their stock levels and in the end, become more profitable.
