GOR Symposium of Forecasting in Berlin

The German “Gesellschaft für Operations Research” (GOR) organizes the Symposium of Forecasting on October 5^th and 6^th 2006 in Berlin. The Symposium serves as discussion forum for people who work in the field of forecasting. To assure a broad variety of different point of views the community consists of software engineers, practitioners and scientists.

The agenda of the symposium also resembles the mix of interests. Representatives of SAP and Adexa will give a speech on their planning software solutions. Representatives of DaimlerChrysler and Global Prognostics will show their forecasting problems and solutions within their daily work and finally there will be talks about latest developments of different forecasting methods.
